I bought "Remove Ads" but ads are still showing

Open the app → Settings → tap RESTORE PURCHASES. This re-queries Apple's purchase receipt and re-enables your entitlement. If that doesn't work, force-quit the app and reopen it. Still not working? Email us with the Apple ID email used for the purchase.

I switched phones / reinstalled the app — how do I get Remove Ads back?

Sign into the App Store with the same Apple ID you used to purchase, install the app, then Settings → RESTORE PURCHASES. Apple's receipt is tied to your Apple ID, not the device.

The game won't go past the loading screen

This is almost always a network blip during ad/IAP service initialization. Force-quit the app and reopen. If it persists, make sure you're on a reasonable network connection and that "Lava Stairs" has not been restricted in iOS Settings → Screen Time.

How is my data handled?

The short answer: there are no accounts, the high score is stored locally on your device, and you can opt out of ad tracking via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Full details on the privacy page.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app from your device. All local data (best score, settings) is removed with the app. We don't store any personal data server-side.

The lava is too hard / too easy

That's by design — the curve smoothly tightens from 3 seconds of grace at row 0 to about 0.3 seconds by row 70. If you're stuck early, try to anticipate the next zigzag tile rather than reacting to it. If you'd like a difficulty slider, email us and we'll consider it for a future update.
